In order to ensure consumer food safety, Co.Pe.Mo. observes maximum compliance with the highest standards of quality and hygiene in all segments of the supply chain, as well as protecting and respecting the environment.
In compliance with the obligations set out in EC Regulation 853/04, Co.Pe.Mo. labels its products with an IT 552 CE Identification Mark.
The IFS (International Food Standard) is an international standard for assessing the conformity of products and processes in relation to food safety and quality. It is the reference standard for conducting audits of distributors’ brand product suppliers. It is recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) for the promotion of food safety.
In 2014 Co.Pe.Mo. Soc. Coop. has obtained the IFS certification with the “higher level” recognition to underline the constant commitment to ensure the absolute quality and food safety of its products.
